Tiff has travelled the world to hunt down the best Mother Nature has to offer. Combining modern extraction methods with local traditions and expertise. From Virgin Baobab Oil wild harvested by local communities in Kenya to Argan Oil gathered by women's groups in Morocco, we're proud of every, single, drop.

    • Almond Oil

      Almond Oil

      What it does: Bursting with Vitamin E, fatty acids and powerful antioxidants, Sweet Almond Oil is known for reducing irritation, softening, hydrating and revitalising dull or tired complexions.

      Sourced from: Did you know nearly half of a dried almonds’ weight is oil? Ripe almonds are pressed to extract the oil with minimal heat. Our Sweet Almond Oil has been sourced from commercial farms in Spain due to the perfect weather conditions.

    • Argan Oil

      Argan Oil

      What it does:  Rich in vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants, Argan Oil has been used for centuries to help moisturise, nourish and soften both hair and skin.

      Sourced from: Argan Oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the Argan tree. Our Argan Oil is wild harvested by local women’s groups in Morocco and then pressed in co-op owned equipment.

    • Avocado Oil

      Avocado Oil

      What it does: Hydrating, moisturizing and radiance boosting, Avocado Oil is loaded with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A, C, D and E to protect skin from free radicals and help with fine lines and dullness.

      Sourced from: Our Avocado Oil is sourced from small scale farmers in Kenya, providing a second income for avocado growers who are left with rejected crop from food exporters. The Avocados are still amazing (just a little unconventional looking) so that rejected fruit is turned into Avocado Oil.

      Tiff says: I love that Avocado Oil is bursting with Vitamin C, which is known for increasing collagen - firmer skin, yes please. Not just that, in our Dusk and Dawn Elixirs it acts as a carrier oil, which means all the gorgeous essential oils remain at super safe levels for your skin.

    • What are the Benefits of Bakuchiol?

      What are the Benefits of Bakuchiol?

      What it does: Bakuchiol is a naturally occurring antioxidant that works in a similar way to a retinol but unlike retinol, it is not a chemical. By stimulating collagen production, it can help diminish signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

      Sourced from: Bakuchiol is derived from the Babchi plant. The Bakuchiol Oil we use is extracted from plants grown in India and cold-pressed to create the magical extract we know and love.

      Tiff says: I am obsessed with Bakuchiol (despite it being so hard to pronounce!) Although I am a big fan of retinol products, they can be a little harsh and cause redness or flakiness. Bakuchiol is a gentle alternative that’s still incredibly effective.

      What are the Benefits of Baobab Oil?

      What it does:  Rich in Omegas 3, 6 and 9, Baobab Oil moisturises, revitalises and protects dry and dehydrated skin. It’s been used for centuries for its anti-aging properties.

      Sourced from: We source our Baobab Oil from Kenya, providing income for small communities who live on the coast. They wild harvest the Baobab seed pods, then clean and dry the seeds before they’re pressed into an oil.

      Tiff says: Did you know the Baobab tree is also known as the ‘tree of life’ due to its rumoured healing (and anti-aging) qualities?

      What it does: A sweet and fresh smelling essential oil, basil oil not only stimulates the senses and uplifts the mind but has anti-inflammatory properties which make it perfect for your skin.

      Sourced from: Derived from the leaves of the Ocimum basilicum botanical (better known as Basil herb!) our Basil oil is harvested and distilled by farmers in Egypt.

      What are the Benefits of Cardamom Oil?

      What it does: Rich in vitamin C (one of our faves) and with antioxidant properties, Cardamom Oil is not only amazing for your skin but is uplifting, invigorating and refreshing for your mind.

      Sourced from: Extracted from freshly dried Cardamom plants through steam distillation, our Cardamom Oil is grown by small scale farms in Guatemala and distilled by a local company.

      Tiff says: Cardamom Oil has been used in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine for centuries. I find so much value in looking at remedies that have been passed on from generation to generation then bringing those time-tested properties to new, innovative products.

      What are the Benefits of Chia Seed Oil?

      What it does: A superfood and super-moisturising, the fatty acids in Chia Seed Oils are anti-inflammatory, calming and super-rich in antioxidants. It’s often included in skincare products to diminish redness, restore moisture and maintain the health of skin cell membranes.

      Sourced from: Chia seeds are the tiny black seeds from the Salvia Hispanica plant. The Chia seeds for our oils are grown by commercial farms in East Africa.

      Clove Oil

      What it does: Perfect for balancing your skin’s oil production, Clove Oil is known for its antimicrobial properties and powerful antioxidant content. It also has rejuvenating and stimulating properties when used in aromatherapy.

      Sourced from: Clove Oil is extracted from the dried flower buds of cloves. The Clove we use is grown by small scale farmers across Madagascar.

    • Fennel Oil

      Fennel Oil

      What it does: Known for its astringent properties, Fennel can help to balance oil production whether your skin is dry or oily. In aromatherapy, this essential oil is also commonly used to boost confidence and courage.

      Sourced from: Sweet Fennel Oil is extracted from the crushed seeds of the fennel plant by steam distillation - ours is extracted by farmers in France.

      Tiff says: In medieval times the ancient Chinese, Egyptians and Romans believed Fennel Oil conveyed courage and strength as well as warned off evil spirits. Personally, I find the smell gives my mind clarity and focus and I love the sweet, peppery aroma it adds to the Scientia Elixirs.

    • Frankincense Oil

      Frankincense Oil

      What it does: With strong astringent properties, Frankincense Oil can help protect skin cells, promoting smooth skin and offering restorative and rejuvenating properties.

      Sourced from: Sourced from the resin of the Boswellia Sacra Tree, our Frankincense is grown in Somalia by a small tribal group and then processed into oil form in Europe.

      Tiff says: I think Frankincense was the first essential oil I ever heard of (anyone else thinking of three wise men?) I find there’s something so comforting about the scent of it and I love the rejuvenating benefits it has.

      Ginger Oil

      What it does: With powerful antioxidant properties, Ginger Oil is known to soothe redness and give radiance to dull complexions. In aromatherapy, Ginger Oil is used to stimulate and warm.

      Sourced from: Derived from the root of the Zingiber Officinale Herb (that’s Ginger to you and me) ours is grown in Tanzania by small scale farmers and then distilled into the oil in Kenya.

      Tiff says: Ginger tea, ginger extract, ginger chocolates… in all honesty I am obsessed with ginger - both the scent and the glowing benefits it gives to my skin.

    • Hemp Oil

      Hemp Oil

      What it does: Non-comedogenic (it won’t clog your pores), anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and super hydrating, hemp oil can help keep skin looking soft and feeling supple.

      Sourced from: Derived from the Cannabis Sativa plant, Hemp Oil is extracted by pressing the seeds of the plant. Hemp oil is not linked to THC, therefore doesn’t provide the psychological high. Our Hemp Oil is produced by farmers in Germany and Canada.

      Tiff says: Everyone is obsessed with Hemp Oil at the moment and rightly so. It’s so light but still deeply hydrating, it’s anti-inflammatory, full of vitamins, antioxidant, non-comedogenic - honestly, I could go on and on…

      What is does: Non-comedogenic (it won’t block your pores), anti-inflammatory and high in Vitamin E, Ho Wood is intensely hydrating, soothing and amazing at balancing natural sebum production. With a beautiful fruity scent, Ho Wood is also used for an instant boost of positivity!  

      Sourced from: The Ho wood plant grows naturally across Asia and we source ours from growers in China.

      Tiff says: In this modern, busy world I’m always looking for a bit of balance and moments of positivity; lucky for us Ho wood gives you both.

      Lavender Oil

      What it does: Stress busting and sleep inducing, Lavender Oil is one of the most therapeutic essential oils going. Plus, it has anti-inflammatory and anti-redness properties for soothing irritated skin.

      Sourced from: Distilled from those beautiful lilac Lavender plants you’d surely recognise, ours are grown in French Lavender fields. 

      Tiff says: We hunted high and low for the perfect Lavender Oil to include in our Dusk Elixir. Some Lavender extracts have an oddly unpleasant scent, others don’t smell like Lavender at all. I spent a lot of time sourcing this particular oil and am so pleased we found the perfect one that makes our Dusk Elixir smell so divine.

    • Macadamia Oil

      Macadamia Oil

      What it does: Rich in Omega 6, it’s useful for balancing sebum production in oily skin and is naturally rich in Vitamin E to lightly hydrate.

      Sourced from: The Macadamia Oil we used is sourced as rejects - essentially broken or small kernels - that can’t be sold for food but are still incredibly amazing and effective for skincare. Ours are grown by small scale farmers in Kenya.

      Tiff says: Not just amazing for skin, since Macadamia Oil is so stable it also makes the perfect carrier oil to ensure our essential oils are delivered to your skin safely.

    • Moringa Seed Oil

      Moringa Seed Oil

      What it does: Soothe inflammation, balance oil levels (it’s very similar to skins’ natural sebum), boost radiance and deeply hydrate skin with Moringa Seed Oil. 

      Sourced from: Moringa Oil comes from the seeds of the Moringa Oleifra Tree and is often found in Africa, Central and South America, the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. Ours is grown in Uganda by a co-op of small-scale farmers.

      Tiff says: As well as having skin boosting benefits in its own right, Moringa Oil also has strong antioxidant properties and is high in Vitamin E which makes it a natural preservative, meaning it naturally prolongs our products’ shelf life, preserving the incredible functions of our other ingredients in an entirely natural way.

    • What are the Benefits of Nigella Sativa Oil?

      What are the Benefits of Nigella Sativa Oil?

      What it does: Anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging, Nigella Sativa Oil is rich in nourishing Vitamins A, B and C, boosting skins’ moisture and elasticity.

      Sourced from: Also known as Black Seed Oil or Black Cumin Oil, it comes from the Nigella Sativa, a small plant with pale purple, blue or white flowers. Ours is commercially and small scale farmed in Turkey.

      Tiff says: Nigella Sativa Oil has been used for centuries - think all the way back to ancient Egyptian times. Apparently legendary Egyptian royalty Cleopatra and Nefertiti used it as part of their daily beauty regime. If it’s good enough for a queen and all that…

    • Passionfruit Oil

      Passionfruit Oil

      What it does: Rich in Vitamins A and C and essential fatty acids, Passionfruit Oil’s high antioxidant content protects skin from environmental stressors and plumps skin without clogging pores.

      Sourced from: Native to South America and Africa, our Passionfruit Oil is sourced from juice processors in Kenya and the fruit itself is grown by small scale farmers.

    • Patchouli Oil

      Patchouli Oil

      What it does: Traditionally used in Asian folk medicine to treat skin irritation, Patchouli Oil also has a grounding and calming scent, perfect for aromatherapy.

      Sourced from: Commercially and small scale farmed in Indonesia. We chose to hand collect and partially dry the leaves in the shade to maintain the integrity of the flower’s power. The Patchouli leaves are then allowed to ferment for a few days before being exported to the distillery.

      Tiff says: I find the scent of Patchouli intoxicatingly luxurious. The addition of Patchouli to my skincare really adds to the experience of using the product, for me it makes that moment of selfcare feel even more special.

    • Pink Pepper Seed Oil

      Pink Pepper Seed Oil

      What it does: Traditionally used to aid circulation and revive dull skin, the unique aroma of Pink Pepper Seed Oil is uplifting and energising, frequently used in aromatherapy to invigorate the mind, body and spirit.

      Sourced from: Pink Pepper essential oil is distilled from the fruit of the pink peppercorn tree – a sacred tree to the Incans,. The Pink Pepper Seed oil we use is wild harvested in Kenyan highlands.

      Tiff says: I’ll be honest, the reason I was first drawn to Pink Pepper Seed Oil was because it’s one of the key notes in all of my favourite perfumes. Turns out it’s has incredible aromatherapy benefits that make it the perfect morning pick-me-up.

    • Pomegranate Oil

      Pomegranate Oil

      What it does: With anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, Pomegranate Seed Oil has traditionally been used as a remedy for acne. Rich in antioxidants, it protects skin from free radicals and environmental damage.

      Sourced from: We source our Pomegranate seeds from a large commercial Turkish juice operator, turning what would be waste product into something amazing. The Pomegranates themselves are grown by both small and larger scale farmers in Turkey.

      Tiff says: I really wanted to include Pomegranate Oil in both the Dawn and Dusk Elixir due it’s anti-bacterial and balancing properties, which help moisturise the skin but keep it balanced, helping to control breakouts.

    • Pumpkin Seed Oil

      Pumpkin Seed Oil

      What it does: Pumpkin Seed Oil is full of fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants which all have unique benefits for your skin, including helping with skin renewal and improving skin tone.

      Sourced from: Pumpkin Seed Oil, also known as Pepita Oil, is extracted from – yep you guessed it - the seeds of a pumpkin. Our pumpkins are grown in China and Eastern European commercial farms.

      Tiff says: Pumpkin lanterns, pumpkin lattes- the humble pumpkin is pretty popular but it’s still overlooked when it comes to skincare. Super rich in vitamins and antioxidants it boasts all the benefits of Coconut Oil but without being comedogenic - basically meaning you get that youthful glow but without clogged pores.

    • Rosehip Oil

      Rosehip Oil

      What it does: Rosehip Oil is full of Vitamin A and Vitamin C, which both help skin look fresh and youthful, whilst still being gentle, safe and soothing for all skin types.

      Sourced from: Rosehip Oil is made by cold pressing the seed pods from specific wild rose plants. Our Rosehip Seeds are wild harvested in Lesotho and pressed by a local business.

      Tiff says: With more Vitamin C then even an Orange, it’s not hard to believe that Rosehip was put on this earth to brighten dull and tired skin.

    • Rosemary Oil

      Rosemary Oil

      What it does: With antibacterial and antioxidant properties Rosemary Oil has been known to reduce excess oil production, prevent damage from environmental aggressors and help with puffiness.

      Sourced from: Sourced from the leaves of the rosemary plant, ours are grown by small scale farmers in Tunisia and Morocco. 

      Tiff says: Rosemary has been used since the 16th century as incense or in massage oils to eliminate harmful bacteria. I love the antibacterial properties and the calming benefits that help keep my skin and mind balanced.

      Sesame Seed Oil

      What it does: High in zinc, Sesame Oil has been known to help your skin produce more collagen, boosting elasticity and encouraging skin cell repair.

      Sourced from: Derived from the seeds of the flowering sesame plants, they are native to India and East Africa. The seeds we use are grown in Uganda by a co-op of small-scale farmers.

      Tiff says: But Sesame Seed Oil is for making stir-fry, right? Don’t worry - the type of Sesame Seed Oil you buy for food consumption and the type in skincare products are completely different and that’s all down to extraction method.

    • Sunflower Oil

      Sunflower Oil

      What it does: Super rich in linoleic acid, omega 6 and vitamin E, this oil is known to soothe redness, help decrease inflammation and protect collagen and elastin in the skin.

      Sourced from: A natural antioxidant, the Sunflower Oil that we use is grown and produced in the United States.

      Tiff says: Again, just like with Sesame Seed Oil, the Sunflower Oil included in skincare is not the same as the oil you fry your food in. Sunflower botanical oil is extracted in a completely different way making it suitable for your skin.

    • Wild Carrot Oil

      Wild Carrot Oil

      What it does: With strong antibacterial properties and ultra-rich in vitamin C, Wild Carrot Oil brightens dull complexions and rejuvenates skin cells.

      Sourced from: Also known as Queen Anne’s lace, Wild Carrot Oil is extracted through steam distillation from dried seeds and ours is grown commercially in France.

      Tiff says: If you google Carrot Oil some people say it provides a level of sun protection. While this may be true in very light levels, I must stress it is not an alternative for sunscreen. If you take anything from this, please let it be - wear SPF!

    • Ylang Ylang Oil

      Ylang Ylang Oil

      What it does: Best known for balancing skin, soothing irritation and regulating oil production, the aromatherapeutic benefits of Ylang Ylang are endless and include easing stress and inducing calm. 

      Sourced from: Extracted from the flowers of Cananga Odorata, our Ylang Ylang plants are grown on Nosy Be island in Madagascar.

      Tiff says: Pronounced ee-lang ee-lang, Ylang Ylang is one of the starring notes in all my favourite perfumes. When blended safely with carrier oils, it’s amazing for balancing both the skin and mind

      You'll find me in: Dusk Elixir
